The Throwbacks

The Throwbacks is a small low budget sitcom about a working class family comprised of five people in a small council house. The five characters resolve around Darren Hamilton (Nick frost) a lazy middle aged man who's pass times are football,food and bullying the rest of his family with his quick comments. His wife Clare is a hard working nursery teacher who enjoys time with her husband but has a short temper with horrible habits that cause multiple arguments. Next are the two sons of the family Daryl and Dylan who are opposites from one another one is secretly gay and acts butch to make up for his faults he does this by bullying his younger brother although letting out feminine concepts from time to time. His younger broth is a full blown nerd who wants to be cool and does anything to fit in from failing at sport to trying to do hard core drinking. And finally the granddad who lives with them an old WW2 veteran who is quite slow and stubborn who also is forgetful and often annoys all the family with his attitude and out bursts. Together they make a dysfunctional family that are known as the Throwbacks.
